The principles of effective teaching in the field of religious education A new approach and suggestions

Abstract

Contrary to the opinion of many experts, religious education is a nuanced, subtle multi-dimensional education with many wonderful points. Considering its sensitive role and being aware of the new education programs, the field of religious knowledge should act in such a way that a precise coordination between the curricular activities and the religious and meaningful education of the learners is established. The present article attempts to address the depth and expansiveness of religious teaching by identifying 12 principles and 4 basic areas in it. With regard to each of these principles and fields‌, and based on the method of analysis of Qur’an and hadith, educational experiences‌, and the content of each principle and field‌, the main points of each in the process of teaching people are addressed. In addition‌, this article aims to explore virtually neglected principles and fields in religious education
