Abstract

The overall goal of this research is to assess the feasibility of literacy training in the form of e-learning with an emphasis on multimedia education. This research is considered to be of a descriptive type in terms of its applied purpose and documentary-field data collection. In the qualitative part, grounded theory was used, and in the quantitative part, the descriptive-correlational method was used. The study population in the qualitative part included all experts and in the quantitative part included teachers of the Literacy Movement in Kermanshah province in 1404. Sampling in the qualitative part was purposeful and it was continued until theoretical saturation was achieved (22 people). Sampling in the quantitative part was convenience sampling (384 people). Qualitative data were analyzed using a three-stage coding technique and quantitative data were analyzed in two parts of descriptive and inferential statistics using SPSS21 and Amos23 software. The results showed that the dimensions of the research model include causal conditions (information technology infrastructure development factors, motivational factors, and educational planning), contextual conditions (cultural factors, compatibility of educational content in the context of multimedia education, and user-friendliness of platforms and sites), and intervening conditions (policy-supportive factors, educational support, and economic factors), Strategies (such as undertaking virtual education on social platforms and networks, developing platforms and software tools in e-learning, improving educational methods and approaches, empowering human resources and digital skills training, and developing communication and technical infrastructure) and the outcomes were( improving educational performance, increasing efficiency in education, developing and improving educational communications, social development and eliminating exclusion, stronger fight against illiteracy, developing participation, and upgrading educational infrastructure and technologies). In the quantitative part, the paradigmatic model of the research was confirmed using structural equation modeling. The results suggest boosting internet speed, strong technical support, high site security, and training and improving the skills of teachers and learners to use electronic equipment

Highlights
