The purpose of this study was to predict academic resilience based on the big five personality factors and dimensions of perfectionism. Also, the research method was correlational. The statistical population included all female students of Qom University in the academic year of 2020-2021 among which 363 students were selected by stratified sampling method proportional to the size of the faculty and based on Morgan table. They responded to Samuels' academic resilience (2004), NEO personality traits (1985) and dimensions of Tehran's multidimensional perfectionism (Besharat, 2007) questionnaires sent through virtual networks. Data were analyzed using SPSS26 software at two levels of descriptive (mean, standard deviation and variance) and inferential (correlation coefficient and regression analysis). The findings showed that academic resilience has a significant and inverse relationship with neuroticism and in contrast, there is a significant and direct relationship with extraversion, acceptance, responsibility, and egocentric, other-oriented perfectionism. On the other hand, the findings indicated that neuroticism, extraversion, acceptance, responsibility, and egoistic and other-oriented perfectionisms have the ability to predict academic resilience. In general, according to the results, it can be concluded that personality traits and dimensions of perfectionism can predict academic resilience.
