The purpose of this research is to predict the academic progress of students of the Qom University of Science and Applied Sciences based on their attitude towards the field of study, career future and labor market needs based on the conducted research and in terms of type, descriptive-survey and in terms of method, correlation type. The statistical population of the research consists of students of applied scientific education centers in Qom (2500 people). The sample size was determined by GPower software, 175 people, and the sample members were selected by simple random method. The research tool includes two standard questionnaires, and students' GPA was considered as an indicator of academic progress, statistical analysis of data was done through Pearson's correlation test and multiple regression. The reliability of the questionnaires was evaluated by Cronbach's alpha method. Alpha statistic values of 0.82 and 0.96 were obtained, which indicates the appropriate reliability of the tool. The findings showed that by using the simultaneous regression analysis method, a significant model was obtained (adjusted R square = 0.055 and P < 0.05 and F = 6.078). This model justifies 5.5% of the variance (adjusted R square = 0.055). ) and labor market needs were not reported as significant predictors. Also, there was a negative and significant relationship between the attitude toward the field of study and future career and academic progress.
