The purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of attitude towards the teaching profession on teaching anxiety through the mediating role of teacher enthusiasm. The research method was applied in terms of purpose and correlation (structural equation modeling) in terms of implementation method. The statistical population of the study was 6328 elementary school teachers in Kurdistan province in the academic year 1402-1403, of which 362 people were selected by stratified random method and according to the classes of the research population (region, city and gender). Data were collected using Hart's teaching anxiety questionnaire, Vienna and Envoy's attitude towards the teaching profession, and Kanter's teacher enthusiasm. The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods (structural equation modeling). The findings showed that: Teacher enthusiasm has a negative and significant effect on teaching anxiety. Attitude towards the teaching profession has a negative and significant effect on teaching anxiety. Also, teacher enthusiasm has a mediating role in the relationship between attitude towards the teaching profession and teaching anxiety. According to the research findings, teaching anxiety can be reduced by strengthening teachers' enthusiasm and improving their attitude towards the teaching profession.
